The Poop Shoot is officially (in a couple hours) open for registration.
I chose Practiscore for this match for various reasons that I don't want to explain.  But it just makes things easier.

Poop Shoot - Rimfire Fun Shoot

Saturday, August 29;  7:00am – 4:00pm

Oregon Trail Shooting Range, 9999 W 2 1/2 Mile Rd, Pocatello, ID 83202, USA.

This is a .22 LR (or .22 Short) fun shoot to raise funds for the rimfire club. A rule set available at the link below. Tube magazines ALLOWED, but with special safety procedures involved.

Get your favorite “not a match rifle” Squirrel Rifle, Grandpa’s Ugly Stick, your Uncle’s Click-Clack, or whatever other .22 rifle that you love, and throw some lead at steel targets. Effort will be made to design/alter props as to not damage nice (or ugly) guns and targets will be generous. (With max range of 100 yards.)

The schedule will depend upon how many people sign up after rules are posted.  It will either follow our typical NRL22 match flow, with a change to the safety meeting timing; or the match will have shooters/squads scheduled in time blocks.  TBD.  The match is currently capped at 50 shooters. If more show interest, we will adjust from there.

Tentatively:

7:00-8:00 am – Setup

8:00-8:15 am – Registration/payment (DO NOT BE LATE!)

8:15-8:45 am – Safety meeting (extra time allotted)

8:45-9:15 am – Sight-in

9:15-9:30 am – Match start / range hot.



Entry fees:

$40 for a family

$25 for single adult

$20 for 17 years and under

Guest fee for non-members is included in entry fees.
All shooters must sign a waiver.

If you shoot the match, you pay.  This is not an NRL22 or PRO match. Any agreements/arrangements to shoot our monthly matches does not apply here - not even for MDs.
